Terms of use
Effective date: not yet in force. Written without a review by a lawyer. Checked every month against official sources, and whenever a feature changes, by an AI-assisted review that is not a lawyer; a lawyer will review these terms before Aura switches on payments, analytics, an AI-model assistant or Sign in with Google. The Italian translation is published at the same address in the app. The English and Italian versions have equal value; if they differ, the one more favourable to you applies. Questions: privacy@auratrip.app. Provider: [not provided yet — to be completed by the owner before launch], [not provided yet — to be completed by the owner before launch]; VAT number: none yet. Contact: privacy@auratrip.app.
By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use Aura without an account, sections 1, 3, 5, 9 and 10 still describe how the service works and what applies. How Aura handles your data is in the privacy notice.
1. What Aura is
Aura helps you choose places, arrange days and adapt a trip when something changes. It is a free information and planning tool. Aura does not sell travel, does not book, and is not a party to any contract you make with an airline, hotel, venue or other provider. Links to providers open their own sites, where their terms and prices apply. Aura does not pass your details to them. Today Aura has no partnership or affiliate agreement with any provider and earns nothing from these links. If that changes, each partner link will say so where you click it, and the way Aura ranks places and plans days will not depend on it.
2. Who may use Aura
You must be 18 or over to create an account. By creating one you confirm that you are. Aura may delete an account that belongs to someone under 18.
3. Information in Aura
Opening hours, prices, photos, flight status and other facts come from named sources (for example OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, official websites, Google, Apple Weather, Open-Meteo, AeroDataBox) with the date they were read. They can be wrong or out of date: check with the provider before relying on them, especially for fixed bookings, flights and opening times. Where Aura does not know something it says so; it does not invent prices, availability or ratings. Ratings and reviews in Google's place card, where it is shown, are Google's, not Aura's. Travel times are calculated only when you ask; without a routing service, walking times are a declared estimate. Weather forecasts are shown only within the provider's forecast range; monthly climate figures are long-term averages, not forecasts.
Plans, suggestions and changes are proposals. You decide. Aura never moves a fixed booking and never marks anything as booked unless you confirm it.
Aura's assistant answers from Aura's own rules and catalogue; it does not use an AI language model today. If an AI model is ever used, you will be told before your first question, and its answers will be marked as AI-assisted proposals that you should check.
4. Your account
You sign in with a code or link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure: whoever can read it can sign in. You can export your data from You at any time and delete your account there (You → Privacy & account → Delete account), or by writing to privacy@auratrip.app.
5. Fair use
Do not use Aura to break the law, to harm others, to overload or attack the service, to copy its data in bulk, or to get around its limits. Aura may suspend an account that does so, after telling you why when it can.
6. Your content
Your trips are private. You can share a view-only link to a trip: the link itself carries the shared content, Aura does not store it, it cannot be withdrawn once sent, and it never includes bookings, references, costs, people or notes (see the privacy notice). You keep all rights in what you write. Publishing trips to other users is not available.
7. Price
Aura is free. There are no paid plans and nothing is charged. If a paid plan is offered in future, it will come with its own terms, shown before any purchase, including the price with VAT, how to cancel, the 14-day right of withdrawal and an online withdrawal function ("withdraw from contract here") as required by Italian consumer law.
Aura+ is an announced plan that is not on sale yet. The prices the app shows for Aura+ (founders' price €5.99 per trip with no renewal, or €29.99 a year) state what it will cost when it opens: they are not an offer, nothing can be bought, and joining the waitlist creates no obligation. When Aura+ goes on sale, the terms described above apply.
8. Availability and changes
Aura may change or remove features, or close, for a valid reason (for example legal, security, technical or cost reasons). We will give you at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email before closing the service or before a change to these terms that affects you, except where a faster change is required by law or for security. If you do not accept a change you can delete your account at any time. Before Aura closes you can export your data. The effective date at the top shows the current version of these terms.
9. Liability
Aura is responsible for providing the service as described in these terms. Aura is not responsible for the services of airlines, hotels and other providers, or for losses caused by their changes (for example a cancelled flight or a closed venue), nor for errors in information that comes from the third-party sources named next to it, which Aura shows with its source and date. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, intent or gross negligence (art. 1229 Codice civile), or any right you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live (art. 66-bis Codice del consumo). Before going to court, please write to privacy@auratrip.app: we will try to solve the problem with you. You may also use an out-of-court dispute resolution body recognised in your country. Any clause choosing a different court does not apply to consumers (art. 33(2)(u) Codice del consumo).
